The database includes everyone who has filed a personal income tax return to the National Tax and Customs Administration, meaning that it is a 100% sample.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Characteristics, notes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Individuals can be identified using an anonymized identifier called \u201esorszam\u201d (serial number). The databases can be sorted into panel data as a given serial number belongs to the same individual each year. The databases do not include those personal income taxes which are paid by paying agents and are not included in the tax return filed by the individuals. These are reported and paid by the paying agents to the National Tax and Customs Administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Availability<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The database can be requested for a designated research purpose on a server by submitting a data request form, solely for researchers or research assistants employed by KRTK. Available for external researchers of the KRTK, researchers participating in joint research with researchers employed by the KRTK (co-authors), PhD students or thesis writers of researchers employed by the KRTK.<\/p>\n\n\n
